General

Do I need to book an appointment?

While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking an appointment to ensure we can accommodate you at your preferred time. You can book online, call us, or use our contact form.

What are your opening hours?

We're open Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM. We're closed on Sundays and bank holidays.

Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes, we offer warranties on all repair work carried out. Warranty terms vary by service type - we'll explain the warranty coverage when you book your service.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers. Payment is due on completion of work.

MOT

How long is an MOT certificate valid for?

An MOT certificate is valid for 12 months from the test date. You can have your MOT done up to one month before the current certificate expires without losing any time.

Can I drive my car if it fails its MOT?

If your vehicle fails its MOT, you can only drive it if the previous MOT certificate is still valid. If the previous MOT has expired, you cannot drive the vehicle until it passes a new test, except to a pre-booked MOT test or repair appointment.

Servicing

How long does a service take?

An interim service typically takes 1-2 hours, while a full service takes 2-4 hours depending on your vehicle. We'll provide a more accurate estimate when you book.

Will you update my service book?

Yes, we'll stamp and update your service book with details of the work carried out, helping maintain your vehicle's service history and resale value.

Pricing

Are your prices fixed or estimates?

Some services like MOT testing have fixed prices set by the DVSA. For other services, we provide estimates based on typical work required. Final pricing will be confirmed after we've inspected your vehicle.

Do you offer payment plans?

We don't currently offer payment plans, but we're happy to discuss payment options for larger jobs. Payment is typically due on completion of work.

Repairs

How quickly can you repair my car?

Repair times vary depending on the issue and parts availability. We'll always provide an estimated completion time when we diagnose the problem. Many repairs can be completed same-day or within 24-48 hours.

Do you use genuine parts?

We use quality parts from trusted manufacturers. We can fit genuine manufacturer parts if you prefer, or quality aftermarket alternatives. We'll discuss options and pricing with you before any work begins.
